My Voice Experience
I was born in the northwest corner of what they call the Green Swamp in Polk County Florida. The road to my house was long and dusty. It was there I learned to be at one with the gators and skeeters.
I came into my voice at a young age because with no phone and being the youngest it was up to me to call in the hogs. Some of my fondest memories are of Wednesday nights, us kin all gathered on the front porch around the radio listening to the Saturday night Grand-Ole Opry.
One of my biggest accomplishments came when my old 5-string banjo and me were voted Most Likely to Succeed. Well, the old 5-string was voted most likely, Im just the driver. When the time came to go out on my own, I threw the wife, kid and bluetick in the Chevy truck and headed west.
As my old Granny Dobson used to say, Yall want to meet me head on. Follerin me, you never know what yall al step in!
