Voice Description

I have a versatile voice. I can go deep for narrations and then turn on the sex appeal for commercials. If that's not enough I can go pro for slick presentations. My voice is clear and authoritative, but warm and inviting. People say my voice reminds them of Moviephone or film trailers. Many have even asked if I've done radio work before.

My Voice Experience

I have extensive experience as a public announcer and in making recordings for voice-mail systems. Other than that, I'm still just testing the waters, so to speak. I'm interested in exploring my voice's potential as many have encouraged me to do so.

My Training

I have a BA in Music and Teaching Certificate. I'm a trained violinist and singer as well as an experienced educator. I'm familiar with music software like Sibelius and GarageBand. I've performed and spoken in fromt of live audiences countless times.

My Studio Equipment

At this point I only have a laptop microphone for a "studio." However, that's easily remedied with a quick trip to Guitar Center should the need arise.

Additional Skills

As a trained musician and educator I've learned how to use my voice to achieve certain effects or produce specific results. I'm well read and enjoy reading aloud. I've also worked as shift supervisor for Borders Books and Starbucks Coffee.
