My Voice Experience

I'm a skilled actor of stage, screen, and video who has been working in voice-over for some time. My first paying acting job was with Blue Man Group, in which, of course, I didn't use my voice at all. However, I began by reading aloud to my wife at nights to help her sleep, and used the skills I developed there to make my way into the business.

I've recorded promos and medical narration, and have a strong background, having trained in Shakespeare, diction, and Linklater voice work.

I'm a skilled drummer and percussionist and have been performing on-and-off with Blue Man Group for 10 years while pursuing other acting work in stage, film, television, and voiceover.

I am also the founder and chief editor of the Green Theater Initiative, a non-profit dedicated to inspiring theaters to go green and helping them to do so. It publishes articles, interviews, and resources related to theaters and the environment, as well as sponsoring a competition for works about climate change and consulting directly with theaters to reduce their environmental footprints.

I have a keen intelligence, being an intellectual at heart; I graduated cum laude from Yale University.
