My Training

Singing in choirs since I was knee-high led me to Choral & Drama Scholarships at Doane College. Choral voice lessons improved my knowledge of how my voice functions technically. The theater was great for stretching my mind, along with my speaking dynamics and range. This training made for a great base to build my radio and announcing career. Working as a Creative Director for group of radio stations pushed me to produce commercials - several a day - on a regular basis.

Additional Skills

As a Creative Services Manager, I often have the duty of directing voice talent. I believe this helps me be a better talent myself. I am more critical of my performance. I've also been employed as a radio account executive which gave me a great understanding of the pain it sometimes takes to make a client happy. I am all about satisfying the customer.
