My Voice Experience
I am a qualified online television editor, producer and director. I have worked for over 12 years in the field wearing multiple hats from Production Manager, (supervising a production team), to client liaison, to television host and voice talent to script writer.
In regards to my voice over abilities, I have voiced over 40 commercials within the Caribbean over the last decade. I have also voiced numerous documentaries of diverse subject matter. Each, in turn calling for a certain feel to be brought to their piece via expression within the voice. My voice has also been used within the tourism market throughout the Caribbean, due to the fact that it appeals well to a targeted British audience.
I am also the manager of an online radio station, where I use my voice extensively throughout the programming broadcasted. From childrens programmes, to consumer watchdog shows.
In regards to fictional pieces, I was a keen drama student back in my teens earning me an A for GCSE. I later went on to attend workshops in voice training and acting simply on a level of interest, as it was and is a field I love to particpate in. Being a writer of children's fiction, I also try my books out on an audience first at the schools attended by my sons, (they are both under 10). This in turn demands that I assume the essence of the character through voice when I read to the large audience, which they in turn seem to enjoy immensely.

BA Media Studies 2:1
