My Voice Experience
I have been getting attention by manipulating my voice my whole life. Whether creating imaginative voices for characters in books as a child, or perfecting obnoxious but spot on impressions to humor my friends as a teenager.
I was told once that it was my tone of voice that was more thought provoking than my actual content following a Speech assignment in school. Laughably I accepted that as a huge compliment..although looking back...
I just completed the Radio Program at a Media Arts school in Metro-Detroit. During the Course I amassed material including Radio Promotion,a great deal of varying types of Commercial Material, P.S.A's, Informative Radio Breaks, One-On-One Interviews, Concert Promos, News/Weather/Traffic Spots all of which were in preparation for my eventual Air-Check and Production Demo.
I have been Master of Ceremonies for a local Women's Flat Track Roller Derby Team, and a Live Improv Sketch Comedy Show as well as private events ranging from Weddings to Faith Based Youth Organizations.
My Training
Graduate of Specs Howard School of Media Arts, workshops at Second City, Chicago, Private Voice Lessons focusing on articulation pitch, tone, and breathing .
My Studio Equipment
I record and edit using Adobe Audition, convert to MP3 and burn a hardcopy with Windows Media Player.
Additional Skills
I have been a Server at an upscale Italian Restaurant for many years which has mad me a very subtle and effective sales person. I always try to understand what my guests, or clients desire, then exceed their expectations in delivery. I am faithful and concise about product knowledge and thoughtful and imaginative in finding ways to relate products to multiple demographics.
