Gerald “Ged” Cleofas is a dynamic and seasoned voice over professional that can deliver quality voice overs for any media projects like original character voice for animation and dubbing, radio and television ads, documentaries, voice narrations, audio cd/tape hearbooks, corporate industrials/audio-visuals, multi-media presentations, Live voice over announcements and hostings for special events like concerts, musical plays, product launches, seminars, workshops and conferences, product trade fairs and trade exhibitions.
Ged is known for having that cool, fresh, creative, distinctive-friendly voice. He graduated from New Era University Philippines with the degree of AB Mass communication.
His early voice over career started in radio broadcasting when Ged began his first radio stint in September 1998 as a blocktime radio host for a radio health-magazine public service program ”Tubig Kalusugan at Kabuhayan” in DWAN 1206 khz produced by Aqua Treatment Technology where he worked also as Media Relations Officer for ATT. At that time another similar radio health-magazine talkshow came up where he hosted, ”Kalusugan at Kayamanan” in DZXL 558 khz sponsored and produced by Herbs and Nature Corporation in November 1999 and from there on, doing voice overs had become his bread and butter.

He had done radio commercial voice plugs for Aquasoft purified water of ATT, My Marvel Taheebo Tea, the product that he endorsed for HNC. December 2000, he did Live voice over announcements during the concert of Filipino Music Artist, Mr.Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano.The concert entitled,"Gary V”, “A Christmas Radical" is a beneficiary concert produced by Utmost Productions and held at Crossroad 77 in Quezon City Philippines where audiences were delighted to hear the clear cool-smooth voice of Gerald. Inaddition, he voiced an inspirational audio tape hearbook and did a “DJ” voice over narration and character voice of Jesus for “Lifeware” audio tape hearbook decompression episode in January 24, 2001 and made voice overs for special events and multi media presentations in Crossroad 77.
Ged works as a freelance voice over specialist and has worked with well-known TV/Radio stations like ABS-CBN 2, GMA 7, DWAN 1206 khz, DZXL 558 khz, local production houses like Prodigy Studio, Digitrax, Special Event Companies like Creative Futures, EP Creatives, Eventworx.

My Training

Doing Voice Overs is my passion and a fun way of expressing myself in different characters or tone of my voice. I had my voice training when I was in a chorale group and had voice lessons in my elementary years. I even attended acting workshops, voice acting and speech classes since highschool and college. I was a member of the first Military Male Chorale group in college in New Era University, Philippines.

Additional Skills

I can write voice scripts for TV/radio commercial plugs and I can even make deep husky character voices like Wolverine, Batman and voice impersonations like Clint Eastwood and Charlie Sheen. I can also sing for commercial jinggles.

My voice can adjust to different types; being warm, informative and distinct, friendly type of guy, conversational type, down to being rugged and deep. I can create cool distinct voices that really rocks!
