Voice Description

My natural age range is 16-30 and I have a warm, resonant, sincere voice. I am accomplished at relaxed, conversational, believable soft sell attitudes such as friendly, calm, soothing, sentimental, folksy, story telling, caring, trustworthy regular girl next door and down to earth. I can do romantic, sexy, sensual and sophisticated or luxurious, rich, expensive and snooty like. I can also perform strong professional hard sell attitudes such as serious, newsy, authoritative, confident, energetic, enthusiastic and convincing. And an authentic Standard British, Received Pronunciation read.

I am skilled at the new edgy attitudes such as argumentative, flippant, sarcastic, wry, bored, monotonous monotone, deadpan, casual and smartass. I can also do dramatic reads such as movie trailer, tv promo, audiobook or natural regular girl on the street testimonial reads.

In addition to this I perform a wide variety of character attitudes like big announcer parody, professor, psychiatrist, sinister, evil villain, super hero, hip, geek, nerd, goofy, jolly, naive, wild, zany, wacky, kooky, nutty, quirky, funny and humorous.

I am an excellent, directable voice actor and can interpret the emotional subtleties in copy and words and connect emotionally with the listener audience. When you request an emotion in my voice for a certain line I can produce that emotion and subtle variations of it. Some examples might be angry, happy, sad, disapponted, satisfied, relieved, concerned, worried, confused, surprised and more complex emotions such as exasperated, jealous, envious, dejected, hopeful, amazed and astounded and of course nonplussed.

I am experienced in reading a variety of corporate industrial copy from dramatic and romantic to straight forward and instruction and I can phrase bullets and outline points well with my voice to clearly lead the listener through the logic of a presentation. I am excellent at pronouncing and understanding medical, chemical, technical and electronic terms.

I do a a variety of accents and dialects including British R.P. (native), Cockney, Irish, U.S. Northern, U.S. Southern (Plantation Drawl), California Surfer Stoner, Valley girl, French etc. (just ask). I do these accents with different pitches and resonances and vocal quirks to create a wide variety of believable, entertaining characters with interesting personalities.

I do a wide variety of character voices with age ranges from 3 to 60 with many resonances and speech quirks.

I'm a great choice for radio and tv commercials, promos, trailers, corporate industrial narration, documentaries, telephone IVR and on hold, animation and character voices, impressions and impersonations, audiobooks and books on tape, training videos, internet and podcast presentations.

My Voice Experience

I began working in Voice Over Studios at the age of 12, in 1999. I was doing a lot of television and promo work and so we would do ADR's and Pick-Ups. In 2001 I did my first animation work, recording the character of a frog for an animated series. In 2002 I did a series of informational announcements for my local theatre.

In 2009, I worked with William Williams at Aliso Creek Studios to train my voice-over skills.
