Voice Description
My voice is deep and smooth. I am used to professional presentations, so I can sound very official and business like.
Modulation is something I use as part of everyday speech and especially when reading. This means that listeners are kept alert; focused. I do this by incorporating voice appeal, by lengthening my vocal chords, drawing out my words, varying my voice pitch, pace of delivery and volume as well as pausing in appropriate places to add impact to my words.

My Voice Experience
When I left University in 1986, I worked for a carpet cleaning company as a canvasser, generating leads. This was hard work, but was the first exposure to selling and learning the art of persuasion. Since then, I trained as a financial consultant, selling life insurance products directly to the public
Currently my line of work is Accountancy which I practice in a large NHS Organisation. This entails making professional presentations on a regular basis, explaining difficult concepts or reporting financial performance to non finance users.
In my extra-secular charitable work I also give public discourses to audiences of 100 or more persons. However reaching the hearts of an audience to motivate them to take action on what they have heard, requires not only knowing my subject matter well, but making my voice more appealing, by lengthening my vocal chords, drawing out my words, pausing to add emotion and impact to my words.
My Training
As a practicing Christian I am enrolled in a weekly school called the Theocratic Ministry School. This school teaches skills in how to communicate effectively when presenting the Bible's message. I have been enrolled in this school for 18 years.
When engaged in my sales assignments (see "Experience" section) we were taught how to convert leads into sales by use of persuasive techniques such as active listening, power phrases etc.
