Voice Description

My deep baritone voice is wonderful for narrations of any kind or I can voice your character as well. In addition, I can be up, exciting and in your face. All with a clear enunciation. I also do gravely or wacky for that extra oomph. Count on me for your voice over needs. Need a voice actor? I'm your man!

I am capable of some basic English (British) dialects - what I would call upper crusty or workingman rough.

My wife says my Mr. Rogers voice sounds like an "Evil Mr. Rogers" and begs me to never do it around her as it drives her crazy. So, of course, I do it whenever I can. ;)

My Voice Experience

I have 18 years of experience in commercial radio production. Plus over 6 years of experience in community theatre both on and off stage. And I also teach so lots of public speaking. I'm currently the on-hold voice for a national event ticketing company. My inflection ranges from very announcer-ish, if that's what you want to very conversational and authentic (non-announcer)

My Training

My voice skills come from many years of amateur singing, some of it on-stage for theatrical productions. Plus I'm a graduate of the Dale Carnegie course for self-improvement and a six time graduate assistant. In addition, I'm a professor at Grand Valley State University in the School of Communications teaching creative writing, research and public speaking courses.
