A versatile voice of depth and great range, the George Evans sound can alternately be described as warm and engaging, intimate and sexy, smoothly professional, or lively and dynamic. A great all-around talent, can go from corporate narration to "WWF Power Slam" in less than 10 seconds (though thankfully, this is rarely requested.)

Although originally from Cincinnati, Ohio in the heart of the American Midwest, Evans has lived in Canada since 1991, is fluent in French, and with ease can voice spots for the Quebec market, where a French-Canadian read is preferred.

The meat and potatoes of George’s sound is a confident, soothing, well-modulated tone, appropriate for a wide variety of applications, from corporate presentations, to broadcast imaging. Note: we will soon upgrade the home studio to include a sexy vintage ribbon mic that clients will surely love.

My Voice Experience

Past experience includes 10 years of on-air experience on Montréal English radio as producer/host of his own on-going popular standards radio program, and note-able contributions to the CBC.

Relocation to the Toronto market brought a contract as staff announcer at Bell ExpressVu, (Canada’s leading direct-to-home satellite service) for whom George Evans voiced hundreds of spots; everything from in-house corporate narrations, to Hollywood pay-per-view and big-ticket sporting event promotions (WWF, NHL Centre Ice.)

Currently George is working independently for clients in broadcast media, internet media, satellite radio and television, telephony for business applications, and corporate presentations of all kinds.
