Voice Description

I've been told I have a great radio personality voice(NOT my face is perfect for radio =P). Low-baritone in my own opinion, but can alter quite easily. With my love of movies and video games I have a good grasp on how to "sell a scene." Situational awareness is about as close as I can describe my greatest strength. I naturally figure out how something should sound given the circumstances.

I am from the Northern Kentucky area, which is basically a part of Cincinnati, Ohio. A unique hybrid of Mid-western, southern, and North-Eastern culture. You don't have to travel very far in any direction to get a wide variance in general natural accents. We are at the epicenter of this. No region really can claim us and my experience playing online video games with voice chat capability has shown that it is very difficult for people to place my accent geographically.

All this being said I like to think of having a chameleon-like capability on the spot. I have a broad range of character voices I can imitate on the spot that certainly don't hold up against true impersonators, but work in the moment.

My Voice Experience

I have no previous "on-paper" experience. I was involved in a State-awarded play in elementary school playing a leading role and just took that as a life experience. Since then I have studied a lot of techniques and made personal observations about why things work the way they work in this type of industry. Apart from that, every journey starts with one simple step forward :)

My Training

Other than taking a few Communications classes in High School(great projects involved), I have nothing to certify my talents. General education would include High School Diploma, well above average ACT score, Advanced Placement Computer Science, and one year of University education.

My Studio Equipment

I have a decent quality microphone for my custom-built PC, and am very motivated to expand my equipment for voice-over purposes.

Additional Skills

I think I have shown my core skills over the input boxes of this page. The only other thing to note would be my day jobs. I have worked Customer Service in some way all of my life. I have a knack for connecting with people and quickly gaining favor in many situations. I believe that to be vital to voice-work as the main factor really comes down to how much the audience believes the actor is either immersed in his role or supporting a product.
