My Voice Experience
In college I worked for the campus radio station and did lots of the PSA's, commercials and was an on air personality. Before that I did a few voiceovers for small commercials for radio stations in my hometown.
I have also done presentation narration for many projects at a major company I worked for, a few e-books/mini books that are put out for the hearing impaired for churches or other organizations, several voicemail systems (on hold messages and IVR systems) and training videos.
My Training
I learned to do voice overs in High School when I used to act in plays, and had to learn to become the characters and give each a unique sound to the way they spoke which helped me refine my voice acting ranges . As a Mass Communications major in college (before switching) I worked in the campus radio station as an "On Air" personality and used several voices to do small comedy skits, PSA's and commercials for campus radio and a few radio spots for the local radio station in the area and commercials for some of the different stores and resturants. I have always been told I have the perfect voice. From speaking like a 5 year old child to a 40 year old man or elderly woman or even a cartoon character, I can do it all and consider myself a voice over artist not just voice talent.
