Voice Description

My voice is somewhat soft and feminine but it also speaks with authority. My voice is warm, inviting and says: ‘Listen to me. I have something important to say that you want to hear.” It is professionally sounding but it is flexible enough do many voice tricks and sound variations, including acting. I can read stories and compel compassion and empathy in addition to recording newscasts. I am Internet savvy and ready for podcasting, voice acting, and multiple voice greetings.

My Voice Experience

My voice is my friend. As long as I can remember, it has done what I asked it to do. Since a young age, I have written, produced and performed skits and plays. I was a youth speaker in high school. In college, my voice talents were further honed by my participation in my College Speech Team. I did voice overs in my broadcasting major projects by working at the campus radio television stations. I was taught by a top notch national radio announcer and news person. I also have used my skills my 17 years of employment with the same organization. Professional presentations include serving as the voiceover talent on a variety of subjects including health issues, public safety, property concerns, record registration and database management. My service as a Public Affairs Officer, Briefing Officer and Instructor in the military also was another venue of presenting information in formal and informal settings.

B.A. in News & Public Affairs; Participation in Moot (Pretend) Court Sessions while obtaining Law (J.D.) degree; Presenter and Trainer on various issues; Trained as Public Affairs Officer in the military; Member, College Speech Team; Chair of work organization. Worked as a News Anchor and Reporter at radio station; and Public Speaking Instructor.
