Voice Description

My natural voice runs from bass to baritone, and I can through inflection and intonation of dialect, create characters of mild, redneck, hillbilly and deep southern heritage (think from Larry the Cable Guy to Shelby Foote). Oh, and I can do a "normal" read as well.

My Voice Experience

I've been the lead singer in a nationally known tribute band based in the Mid-Atlantic for the last 12 years. My first experience as a voice actor was in 1984, when I provided the voice over on an alpha numeric cable television show that I created and produced, called AutoVision. In the years since, I've done radio ads, video narration, audiobooks, and now, podcasts.

My Training

I've been a performing artist and songwriter for twelve years now, and play the guitar and keyboard, allowing me to compose the music that will accompany my lyrics...I am basically a poet at heart. I have written copy for radio ad's, and produced jingles for broadcast in local markets. I have been involved with home and studio recording since 1998, and have proficiency with Garageband, Acid Music Studio, and Pro Tools.
