Voice Description

My voice depends on the script or purpose just like in real life. It's one voice when I'm handing out awards at a contest and a different voice when begging to get somebody else's white elephant at the Christmas party.

My Voice Experience

I've performed non-traditional on-hold messages for a quirky one-of-a-kind camera shop and voiceovers for corporate sales meeting presentations.

My Training

My greatest education in voice over work came from recording multi-track musical compositions. Doing so granted me voice projects for customers requiring speaking rather than singing.

My hobby is wildlife photography and I have a feeling I could do better in that respect if I weren't rehearsing what I plan to say at the next company meeting while on the hunt for wild animals out on the trails.

My Studio Equipment

I'm using an Intel-driven Macintosh or two, MXL USB 006 microphone and Sound Studio 4.0 for most recording and mixing. I've got a moderately extensive royalty-free music library and sound effects as well.

I'm a wildlife photographer that operates a retail camera store. Retail sales pitches help immensely in voiceover work simply because a pitch for the same product(s) year after year, customer after customer, must sound fresh and new even after many deliveries.

More importantly, I'm accustomed to pleasing clients in a world filled with competition. Even when it takes some "extra doing," you'll get what you need and want when you hire me, whether in retail or online.
