Voice Description

My voice is what it is. Though adaptable, I would say it is best used "as is." It has been called: sincere, honest, sarcastic, humorous, sexy, all-American, whitebread, nondescript, Midwestern, no accent, friendly. So I think it is basically eclectic/enigmatic and basically needs to be heard to be categorized.

My real interest in voice-over work stems from my passion for audiobooks and my desire to have more of them produced. But I am also passionate about using my voice to make shorter projects/products (for example, podcasts and business/training presentations) as accessible to as many people as possible.

My Voice Experience

I have no prior professional voice-over experience; it has all been amateur: special voicemail greetings, home-movie narration, live public speaking, and a variety of similar situations.

My Training

Two years of broadcasting communications training at Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, Maryland, plus six months of Theater Arts training at University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. Other than that, none but life experience.
