Voice Description

For the last 16 years I've been doing voice-over work, live television, live music and the occasional acting stint for regional and national ad campaigns. My range in both speaking and singing is considered substantial, from low, soft and sexy to high, stark and whiny.
Accents are a specialty of mine. I do over 50 regional accents from European to the Middle and Far East. I can also hone is on any regional American accent that might be needed.
Character voices are among my best work. From sci-fi to cartoon to just plain odd, I have hundreds of characters that want to come out and play.

My Voice Experience

I started in radio in 1991 as a disc jockey where my voice was used in hundreds of local commercials and promotions. That led directly to my first job in television in 96' where I produced a large body of work and did several voice-over TV spots including Captain D's and Nextel. For the past 7 years I've been a freelance broadcaster at CNN in the weather department. Doing on-air work on live national television has given me a strong nerve and the ability to deliver under pressure. I would also mention that I am a performing singer and songwriter in Atlanta, where I am considered one of the area's strongest vocalists.

My Training

My degree is in communications, but my real training came from my first job in radio. The amount I learned in that 5 years was better than any degree I could have earned. I have several national advertising campaigns to my credit as both an actor and voice talent. I have 7 years of on-air experience on national television which is an education in itself.
