Experience in Radio and Television. Began career in 1989. Received DJ of the Year award in College as I worked at the College radio station. I LOVE how a voice can evoke emotions and include the listener by way of theater of the mind. I have a passion for voice overs and have used my voice for over 20 years in the industry. I have had my own local talk show (About Town) and enjoyed face to face use of my voice. I have a daughter who requires my attention (Shriners child - 13 surgeries) and I am now looking into working from home. I am in the process of building my own home studio. Can't wait to work from home!

I am currently working with Alzheimer's patients and do a lot of entertainment/voice therapy. I sing to the residents daily and have recorded my voice singing and reading stories to calm one resident who cries out most hours of the day. My voice is the only device we have found to calm her and allow her to feel comfortable, safe, calm and happy.
I have acted as a substitute with the local school system and worked with autistic children and the developmentally delayed. I read to them and use my charismatic and full of life attitude to keep them engaged and involved with their daily learning. I sang to them in times of extreme distress in order to calm them and get them back on task. My heart hurts for those who cannot participate in society and long to sooth them with my voice. I enjoy this most.
