Voice Description

"Boldly going Where no man has gone before", my first voice over job was rather "Star Trekesque". It was for a technology company that wanted to preview a new patented project to potential investors and needed a kind of mystiqical strong, yet feminine voice to convey the overall theme of the product.

I have done several dialectal voices and various different professional commercial type voices promoting businesses and products.

I am also able to imitate a African American northern accent (regional New Jersey-New York, southern voice (European-American and African American-regional area South Carolina, North Carolina,Georgia) Standrd American English (no regional accent) is my natural pattern of speech

My Voice Experience

My expereince has primarily been in the area of voice mail greetings, on hold messages,phone recordings, phone operator menue simulations,and a voice over demo for a presentation.

My Training

I have worked in the fashion industry and magazine industry, after graduating from college with a dual degree in the Fashion Merchandising , with minors in Speech Pathology and Audiology. I have taken voice lessons during my pubescencent years and have taught business etiquete, which include various regional dialects and Standard American english.

I was inspired to pursue voice overs by Leslie (Les)Brown, motivational speaker, after we met at my employment at a private liberal-arts college in Atlanta GA. He heard my voice and suggested that I pursue voice overs professioanlly.
