My voice is versatile. I can be expressive and imaginative for storytelling, sexy and smooth for commercials, and professional and intelligent for presentations or documentaries. I can have a fun upbeat young sound, or also a mid range sexy sound for more adult content. I can read and speak spanish and french fairly well, and can do a great british accent when needed. My vocal inflections are very precise, my singing voice clear and moving, and my speaking voice is captivating.

My Voice Experience

20 + years of experience in live, theatrical, studio, and professional vocal performance. Singing is my first love, and doing voice overs is my second. I have done everything from travel the country with a professional acting company, to recording an original musical, to collaborating with a company to sing their new jingle. I have gleaned much from many different professionals in the industry from all venues like authors, writers, singers, performers, directors, as well as successful artists.

My Training

Directly after high school, I travelled 3 years with a professional acting company. I recorded 3 of their soundtracks and starred in 3 of their videos. Radio drama in Colorado came after that, and then community theatre in the Chicagoland area for 2 more years. Becoming a seasoned studio vocalist began in 1995, and continues today in Chicago and Madison, and I have also been trained through experience in voice overs in the Southern Wisconsin market, mainly WJVL. Most of my training has been hands on, being in the right place at the right time, and having the honor to work with brilliant talents who were willing to share their experience with me.

Additional Skills

I am a riveting and expressive storyteller, especially when it comes to childrens books. Working presently in the Advertising Department of Blain's Supply gives me an edge on what's current, and keeps me sharp. Performing regularly in the studio, live with other musicians, having a strong faith in God,and also being an avid reader and lover of the fine arts are all things that keep me in touch with the pulse of what's important today.
