Voice Description
Since an early age mimicking voices has been quite a forte of mine. I'm able to do animals like cats, dogs, monkeys, baby lions, and several bird calls. I can do accents like British, Southern American, and Valley Girl. Both English and Portuguese (Brazilian) are my native languages. I learned both at the same time when I was young. I can adjust my voice to several types of voice overs. I can do narrarations, commercials, presentations, and many others. I can sound tough, professional, warm, peppy, kind, bored, depressed, and a number of others.

My Voice Experience
As a person always wishing to express her opinions, using her voice as a job wouldn't be very difficult. Since an early age, I enjoyed mimicking several voices. In 6th grade I was able to use one of them, British! I was added to the cast of "A Christmas Carol" as Martha. I did that for another year again. Then in the 8th grade I joined another cast in school for "Fairytale Courtroom". Guess who was the evil but oh so elegant and haughty witch? Me. I had to experiment with evil laughs and cackles and constant snubiness. I participated in several acting workshops to help with pronunciation and other details with voice. Also in the 8th grade year, I made a podcast (an online radio show) just for pure fun with one of my friends. Proper pronunciation was required in order for listeners to understand exactly what we were saying. I'm still doing this podcast. I also take vocal lessons for singing. Speeches in school programs have allowed me to confidently word and clearly say what I need to. I have performed many times in my life and continue to do so.
My Training
I haven't taken any formal voice over training, but alot related to it. In plays I participated in, we learned how important it is to correctly pronunciate words, and how to make a voice sound convincing. As I did in "A Christmas Carol" with the British accent which requires proper articulation. In vocal training for singing, I learned just the same thing as in with acting. I have learned to be sure to make my words clear.

Additional Skills
The only additional skill I am familiar with that may help with voice overs is singing. That is what I have. I am not quite sure what other skills may help.
