My Voice Experience
It was a dark journey! Wading through foreign film dubbing and stumbling into commercials as an all- American pitching one product after another for 30 years of zany spots and P&G ... all the while, dabbling back to those secret rendezvous... late into the night ...those voice-overs, those alluring voice-overs.
I have performed in over 350 on-camera commercials, pitching products ranging from diapers, beer, automobiles etc...
My Training
Advertising is in my blood.... I cut my teeth early on, pounding the boards doing the classics and musical comedy, and then hitting gold as a pitchman for on-camera commercials (over 350)and yet the sirens of Voice-over still draw me back into the dark and mysterious studios.
My Studio Equipment
I am have access to three studios...
First Choice- is a state of the art recording studio - post mixing, FX and music...after hours... 9pm -12pm
The other is a friend's home studio - I must work with his schedule, but flexible.
Third choice is at my home studio.. pretty clean... but just voice at this stage, no post yet at this site.
Additional Skills
I have authored several books and articles for magazines and have designed many computer games.
I am active in sports and an advance equestrian, and I miss playing hockey!
I am a historical researcher, and often speak or write about military history and have specialized knowledge on the cavalry and the horse in war. I have been a guest speaker on several shows and programs.
I understand branding and brand management along with national strategies having worked for and with many top 100 corporations.
I have several PD books that I want to record for voice-book publishing.
