My Voice Experience

A flatulent army major toad; a lecherous, homicidal mayor; a remorseful prisoner; a Transylvanian tyrant (who only wanted to be a TV chef): these are some of the characters I've voiced for animated films. Radio, promo and audiobook characters I've played have included an overbearing headmaster, a henpecked grandfather, a worried father and an 'expert guest'psychologist. An ADR/foley assignment had me 'voicing' a gagged, panic-stricken hostage about to be stabbed to death; another had me recounting the dying thoughts of a businessman whose four ex-wives were gathering for his funeral. Directors of films with 'dark' themes have said they cast me as much for the air of mystery, menace and danger I can bring to the interpretation of the narration as the 'darkness' and richness of my voice and clarity and fluency of the delivery. Fine arts practitioners have engaged me to supply the vocal delivery of their artistic manifestos and performance art.
