Voice Description
My voice ranges from a solid baritone to higher ranges. My delivery style ranges from smooth and conversational to powerful, but it can really depend on the product and the music. I can handle different American accents and create other voices when asked to(no imitations). I have handled most style of audio work from radio commercials through corporate video to training recordings. Good diction where precise pronunciation is important.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
I have been asked to create accents and characterization that have included the stereotypical Italian-American, a "Fred Flintstone," a cigar-chomping bird from New Jersey among others...
My Voice Experience
I have done radio/TV commercials, industrial video voice overs, and live event narration for over 27 years in the radio and video production business. My voice has been heard from Cleveland to Erie and a little south. My voice was used on the "Welcome" video that greeted visitors to the John Glenn NASA Research Center in Cleveland and on a 15-tape hazardous material handling series for the Cleveland Road Department.
My Training
I learned how to do all sorts of voice over work at the Ohio School of Broadcast Technique and used those lessons well over a decade and a half radio career and have continued to use them in my position outside of radio now.
My Studio Equipment
Currently, I am using an Audio-Technica microphone hooked directly to a desktop computer. I edit using a professional digital audio editing program. I am now creating my own production music using music looping software.
Additional Skills
In addition to voice overs, I have also been a production director at three different radio stations during my career. I now produce marketing videos and local cable access productions as part of my job. Not only have I done plenty of voice overs, I also use other voice-over professionals myself, so I know what kinds of deadlines and other issues come up in the production process long after a voice has been recorded.
