Voice Description
My voice is a deep bass with western regionalism and is good for radio commercials requiring a smooth voice with a "western" overtone. It is good for narrations as well as for professional presentations and audio books. I can change the pitch of my voice to takeout a lot of the western regionalism.

My Voice Experience
My experience has been limited to date. In 1987 I was chosen for a national television commercial for Total Petroleum and was chosen out of 12 auctioneers selected from across the United States. In addition to this, I have done radio commercials for a major grocery chain in the Denver area as well as having done a few commercials for a local gasoline chain and a local automobile auction. I have been a professional auctioneer for over 20 years.
My Training
I have had no professional training. My jobs have come from people hearing my voice and wanting me to do work for them. I was trained as a professional auctioneer in 1984. In addition I have been involved with singing as a choir member of my local church.

Additional Skills
Since my work in the voiceover field has come not from training but from using my natural born voice that most people have found to be clear and powerful yet smooth and pleasing to listen to whether I'm selling at an auction, or singing in the church choir, or just speaking to people in general. With my work as an auctioneer, I'm very used to being up in front of crowds of people or being in front of a microphone. I feel gifted in knowing that my talent is naturally born, not created. It is mine alone and not imitating any other people.
