My Voice Experience

I’ve always felt lucky that I had something special about my voice. From the time I was 6, I was put on a stage to sing or speak. My parents didn’t want a stage child, so I had to pursue it alone. My friendly and outgoing personality, whether singing or speaking, has always allowed me an audience. I only wish I could have pooled all my talents together sooner and realized how enticing my voice can be to sell anything. When I convey belief, people trust me and want to try whatever I suggest.

My Training

* Most recently, I’ve studied with Marla Kirban, voice over in Manhattan.
* I went to the New York Academy of Theatrical Arts, also in Manhattan and was given the honor of being one of two students asked to join the Theater Arts Repertory Company.
* Earlier on I studied with Lynn Lappin, high school acting teacher at Valley Stream Central High School.
* I also studied with Lillian Pape, privately and at Nassau Community College.

Samson USB C03 Multi Pattern Condenser Microphone and wind screen pop filter.
Sony Acid 6.0 Recording Studio and Audacity Beta 1.3
(I use both programs to get the mix I need.)

Additional Skills

While I am fairly new to the Voice Over industry, I have been in many facets of the entertainment industry including acting, vocals, standup comedy and writer. I had a DJ company (Paradise Entertainment) for 9 years. I’ve held many non-entertainment related jobs selling vacuums door to door, working at restaurants, driving an ice cream truck and cleaning drains (drain surgeon) for many years.
