My Voice Experience

My full time occupation is that of Vice General Manager for a Chinese media production company in Nanjing, China. In addition to the voiceovers I have done for countless local and national radio and tv stations in the UK and China, previous and ongoing international corporate clients include Coca Cola, Siemens, Nestle, BASF, Ericsson, NEC, Sony, DHL, Chivas, Austrian Airlines, Swissair, Northwest Airlines and EDT Diamonds.

My Training

23 years experience in radio, having produced and presented programmes of every genre for radio stations in Scotland, England, China & Austria. In particular, I am well known for the enormous quantity of international award winning programming I have produced in China, and for my local knowledge and relationships, having cooperated with various governmental organisations plus television and radio stations nationwide. Since working for a local media company, I have furthered strengthened my insight and understanding of the framework, tradition, and procedures involved in doing business in China. My experience in foreign media has also been instrumental in winning international customers for the Chinese firm.

My Studio Equipment

I record exclusively using an AKG C4000B microphone into Digidesign ProTools running on Apple G4, G5 or Macbook computers. For the large part I can record and email or ftp the finished product to the client at very short notice. Preferred file formats are AIFF, WAV and MP4, although I also support all other formats.
