My Voice Experience

I started talking at an early age but it was more fun to mimic than repeat. Television was many times, my baby sitter giving me some great influences. Yosemite as a child introduced me to "live" accents from people all over the globe, and that's when I really started having some fun! As a teen in school I discovered music and recording techniques which led me into the recording and technical side of the business until I joined and formed various musical/recording groups into my twenties while incorporating my characters and accents onto the stage and into the studio. I then produced my own voice-over demo in my home studio. Further recording included story book and comic book readings, Horror film voice overs, documentaries, commercials and singing voice-overs with harmonies.

My Training

Formal training includes VOICETRAX in San Rafael, CA, and THE JOHN FORD SCHOOL OF VOICE in San Francisco, CA. High School and College majors in English, Creative Writing, Public Speaking and Music. Experience in recording studios, my home studio and live performances. Competition winner for "Milk does a body good" commercial spot using a young, vibrant healthy male character voice. I also write, produce and record music in a home studio.

My Studio Equipment

Yamaha 8 track recording studio with full mixing and blending capabilities up to 16 tracks. Digitech vocal effects processor with over 300 possible vocal effects available. EV microphone for high clarity and detail. JVC dual CD recorder used in conjunction with software to easily convert recording to mp3 format for easy delivery and distribution.
