My Voice Experience

I have been working in theatre and behind the mic since I was eight. My mum is a librettist & songwriter and I had the chance to do professional recordings of songs and dialogue at Lynwood Studios with actors like Peter Polycarpou and Anna Francolini before I realised they were famous!

I have always loved the idea of bringing something alive from the page and exploring the different identities within my voice. My first professional voiceover work was at the age of 8 for Verlag Moritz Diesterweg teaching German children English. That year I also learned to cook ravioli on the BBC Cookery UK programme, sang in the New Year on CBBC's New Years Eve singing talent show and was even on CBBC Stitch-Up where I had my first taste of a live TV chat show. This has helped me gain the confidence and ability to jump in and give my all without being afraid.

My first big stage debut was at Soho Theatre with 2's Company in Full Stop (2002), followed in 2005 by a part as a child dancing at the London Coliseum in Eugene Onegin, Tchaikovsky's opera, directed by Julia Hollander for ENO. My other professional engagements have been at Greenwich Theatre (2006) and Oxford Playhouse (2008) in the musical Possessed, playing William Morris's daughter Jenny.

My amateur work includes Minnie in Annie Get Your Gun at Arts Ed. (2010), Verity in Find Me by Olwen Wymark at Arts Ed (2009), Viola in Twelfth Night at Royal Russell School (2008), Titania (actor/dancer/singer) in In Your Dreams by Fiona Tong directed by Ruth Carey for Stage Coach, Dulwich (2002) and the Troll Princess in Peer Gynt directed by Tricia Thorns at Alleyn's School.
