Voice Description
My voice has been compared to Kasey Kasem and other big names in the industry. I offer a unique, deep tone for the dramatic pieces such as movie trailers, and lighter tones for more upbeat, friendly adds. When it comes to a step by step guides, there are few better.
I put emotion into everything I do, and my voice shows it. I handle inflection and intonation very seriously. I speak a little bit of french, but translations would come a long way if im needed to speak the language for an extended period of time. I have no strong regional accent of any kind.

My Voice Experience
I am new to the voice over field, but only on the professional side. Unofficially, I've been giving professional grade speech and instructions for years, weather it be my award winning speeches during high-school, my later work for Dell's outbound sales department, or just my daily interactions with people. And I always get the same comments. "You should be in radio, You should do announcements!"
I got tired of the suggestions, tired of being someone that "should be" and started trying to be someone that "is." I tried the local scene, but as I live in a fairly rural area, I turned to the web for support, where I found this website, as well as a few others, where I volunteer my services. Within two days of signing up on one particular site, a voice over I recorded with what equipment I have on hand was accepted to be part of a commercial for a website. And now I find myself here, hopeful for the future.
My Training
Ive taken many speech courses both in high school and in college, however, I find that Most of my ability comes from reading stories to others, and my experience acting. My voice and its tone came naturally, but it was there that I learned how to manipulate it. With the help of a current voice over professional, Ive started applying my skills to this field.

Additional Skills
I am a computer science major, with a computer information systems associates degree. I may not be up on all the latest software or equipment for every job, but I learn fast, and I learn well. Within a short amount of time, I can generate dry reads of script and give you something to listen too.
