Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I do Southern and French accents. I can mimic the following characters: Rosanne Rosanna Danna (Old Saturday Night Live), most of the children from South Park, Bobby Hill from King of the Hill. I do the following animal sounds: grunting/ oinking of a pig/ hog, chirping of a bird, cat meow and dog bark.

My Voice Experience

I have always held jobs where it was necessary for me to have the utmost attention of my audience...so my voice had to be commanding and, in control. I have taught children as young as preschool (all subjects), did special news recordings for the Deaf and Blind School of Colorado Springs, provided crisis counseling for juveniles and worked in adult corrections. I have taught recruits in the detentions/ enforcement academies both in Santa Barbara, Ca. and in Colorado Springs, Co. (classroom and field settings). Throughout my school years I belonged to school choir and performed in chorale productions at my local schools. I come from a very musically talented Family and whenever gathered together at reunions, we spend many happy hours singing tunes of the past and present (always in harmony).

Effective communication has always been paramount in my career and, the reason for my personal job success. I placed emphasis on speaking in front of fellow workers, groups, classroom of pupils and detention wards...most of my work was not recorded via audio sound. I have always had a fascination for the work of those who narrated documentaries. I began searching the web for sites that could use people interested in voice over work. I am hoping I can get a start with your service...my voice will not disappoint you.

I have the willingness to seek out audio engineers nearest me and, become familiar with the use of the necessary equipment needed to advance my career in this job, as long as it is not cost prohibitive.
