Flo Ayres, a 50 year veteran of radio and television, is known in the industry as "the Grand Dame of voiceover" and "the woman with the thousand voices."
From the Muppets to her award-winning children's CD, Doo-zees and Don't-zees, Flo has the talent, experience and range to play any offbeat or quirky character called for, be it female, male or anywhere in between. Her charater voices are so memorable and prized by listeners that she's been called back years or even decades later for reprisals.
Having played a senior voice for commercials and political spots for the past 50 years, Flo can claim to really be in touch with her target audience, as she's now a card carrying member! But don't let the length of Flo's experience fool you into thinking she's an old lady - Flo is still actively in demand for her ability to reach one of the country's largest and most sought after demographics: seniors and retirees.
Want a straight voice? From the single 40-something to the midwestern housewife to the politically charged professional gal to the little ol' lady from Pasadena, and even bubby from the old country, Flo has laid thousands of female spots across the nation, and can meet any female vocal need across the board.
Flo is available for both AFTRA-SAG and non-union work.
