Voice Description

I can do virtually any world-wide English-speaking dialect/accent (especially if given a sample). Dialects of the North-Atlantic (Irish, English, Scottish) are a specialty. With some exceptions, these can be done both as highly authentic (but still intelligible to the non-local), or as broad over-the-top characters.

My natural dialect is of the central Eastern seaboard of the United States and my natural delivery is the slightly sarcastic 20-something/Dennis Miller variety. Can readily do blue collar material, also.

My Voice Experience

While I think my greatest strength is in doing broad character voices, I get the most attention for my soft, sincere everyman.

The most laughs come from my Casey Kasem or Don Lapree.

My Training

I have long been a writer and am a former stand-up comic. I have been in training and classes for more than three years, including with Bob Bergen, Pat Fraley and Jim Alburger and Penny Abshire.

Additional Skills

I am a natural mimic and can do a variety of vocal sound-effects (my cricket is amazing). I'm also a skilled writer, so I have a knack for understanding the intended story and figuring out what the words should mean. Outside of voice acting, I have a computer and technology background, so almost anything even peripherally related to technology sounds very believable coming out of my mouth.
