Voice Description
I have a baritone, bass voice range natural voice and within that range can deliver a variety of tonalities, Darth Vaderish, Transformerish deep voices. I can also change my range into a medium range with a variety of dialects, Jamaican, certain African accents, southern accent. Because I am very comfortable with emotional transitions as an actor, I am comfortable committing to all the emotions. I can adapt my voice to suit the project's need from storyteller, narrator, industrial presentations to commercials. While working on the conversion process, my voice reels are currently available for review by googling "Fitz Houston's Voice-Over Demo Reel."

My Voice Experience
I have wanted to get into the voice over industry since the mid-80's. It has always been a talent I have had which began with imitating inanimate objects like CB radios, Kawosaki motorbikes, helicoptors, heartbeats, etc, until Michael Winslow beat me to the punch and became known for the Voice-over sound FX wizard. Then technology evolved and wipe out the need for vocal sound effects. My first Voice-over job in the late 90's was the role of Mr. Bones in the game by the same name, Mr. Bones, for Sega, the lead character, a stubborn skeleton who refused to give in to the evil villain who had the power to call all the dead to life. It looked like the character and the game had a bright future until again technology evolved and Play Station and Dreamcast took over and stopped Sega and Mr. Bones in their tracks. I continued on until I finally landed Sherriff Wheeler in SILENT HILL: Homecoming, 2008, which reignited my excitement and thirst to go all out again to get into the voice-over field, especially video games. I have recently been cast in an upcoming mixed martial arts video game as well as two other animation projects. This a field I feel I can do extremely well in if whenever I get the right break to show what I can do.

I have also been a digial editor for the past 5 years, currently using Pinnacle 14, using that software for any EQing. Currently upgrading mics to allow for better audition quality. Audacity is the software I am currently using for recording.
Additional Skills
I am a very physical person should your project include motion capture.
Voice matching is a gift that I have in matching celebrity actors in my voice range.
I am very good with ADR, looping and dubbing.
My most challenging looping experience was in a film project where I had to loop a lead actor's entire role for enunciation clarity but had match the origianal actors emotional performance. Now that was a real challenge.
My most comical job was when I had to loop a baby French poodle's breathing and occational barking during a major scene in a film.
