My Voice Experience

For the most part all of my voiceover work has been in a professional environment. I've narrated training videos and promo pieces. I've also been the voicemail voice. All of this experience was in Australia more than 10 years ago.

A few years ago I did some voice work for a gaming company as they wanted a more cultured English accent for a game they were producing. They eventually changed the characters out so my part was cut, but the whole experience was invaluable.

My Training

I've had very little training in voice work, but spent a lot of time in a recording studio in the late '80s so I have experience with the professional process.

Most of my learning has been on the job, but I'm willing to work with people to improve what needs to be improved.

My Studio Equipment

I do have Cakewalk Home Studio with a Soundblaster X-Fi Extreme Audio card.

Additional Skills

I've done public speaking so I know the value of a clear sounding voice. I'm also up for anything and understand you can't hold onto your own preconceived notions about how something should sound. It's all about the client.

I'm really adaptable and willing to step outside the box to get something just right.
