Voice Description

I have what some might call a well modulated voice, or perhaps even 'the queens english!' I speak English in what might be described as a southern British or London (not Cockney) accent. Having said this, as an actress I can vary my voice dramatically being able to do a number of Britsih regional accents and other versions of English-American, Australian, South African as well as English with foreign accents, French for example. I also speak French to a high standard and Italain so am able to do voice recordings in these languages too but will retain an eglish accent to some extent.

My natural voice is relatively young and clear but I can alter this to sound older and more sultry if required or gruff and deep where necessary, I am flexible to the requirements of the job in hand.

My Voice Experience

I have been acting since childhood, performing in at least three productions a year for the last six years. I have experience in small voice over ventures for small scale DVD promotions and commentarys on documentaires.

My Training

I have a degree in Philosophy and English Literature which I did alongside a number of acting roles and since then I was trained at the International Theatre School of Jacques Lecoq in Paris where I trained in a number of dramatic skills including voice.

Additional Skills

I have years of acting expereince but I have also doen a degree and lived abroad. Given the nature of this type of lifestyle I have had to work in a number of roles from cleaning lady, barmaid, TV translator to au pair and events organiser. The variety of roles has meant that I have met people from all over the world and from very different professions. A greater compilation of experiences and peopel makes it easier for me to tap in on those experiences and conversations and imitate them or snipits of them in my work.
