My family heritage is that of being the daughter of a disc jockey.
From this broadcast-based upbringing, I have a great love of music and voices. My first real opportunity to do voice recordings in the workplace, other than random as-needed spots at the radio station, was for my own business, and later doing the outgoing voicemail messages and operating the main switchboard at the law office I worked at in San Francisco, which I received a lot of compliments on for my voice.
It has been my dream to be an artist since I was a child. Doing voice over work is my way of realizing that dream, using the God-given talents that I have with a pleasant, interesting voice, and sharing that in the business world. I also love reading to children - a very satisfying and FUN endeavor, especially since I like kids, and am still one at heart!
I began pursuing doing professional voice over artist work last year, and enrolled in Such a Voice last spring -- my coach was Lisa Foster. I plan on continuing in this field, learning and growing and contributing in a positive way as I go along!
I also have a strong love of music and dance, and like to write poetry, and children's stories, and play with children too (great way to use different voices!).
