Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Snooty (British) snob with excessive enunciation, lighthearted giddiness, kid snarkiness and or whining and the "MOM!" exasperation voice, the responsible adult Mother voice, clueless dorkiness, warm and sympathetic, happiness fit to burst, nasty nasty b*tch, evil with a soupcon of threat, vicious and mean, California Valley, ooey gooey baby or nonsense speaking to pets. I can do a running commentary of the same phrase repeated in successive tones and accents with engaging humor. Superlative range of laughter sounds, from maniacal to chortling to snorting to lighthearted giggles.

My Voice Experience

My first paying job was as the voice of an animatronic 'talking head' for Halloween for Home Depot. Researched the accent to record it as a not-quite-sane Transylvanian Countess, the client's essential job requirement was to have folks break out into laughter when they heard the voice as they walked by the motion-activated head. I succeeded brilliantly as the recording studio guys were howling at my maniacal and over the top laughter. August 2009 recording date.

My Training

I have spoken in tongues most of my life but only recently decided to earn a living at it. Recorded my demos at VoiceCoaches in Schenectady, NY; attended May 2009 VO and Marketing seminar.

I believe in the art of customer service, and take direction really well for an otherwise Type A personality, since I am always willing to try new things and learn and grow.
