My Voice Experience

About 30 years ago, I started working on-air promos and corporate presentations as producer. And all during that time, colleagues and clients suggested that I was on the wrong side of the microphone. And they were right! My voice has been heard on direct-to-video films in Europe and the United States, corporate presentations including clients such as Nissan, Toyota, Northop Grumman, Xerox and many others. Other clients include CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox, and Showtime.

My Training

I have been taught by many of the talent that I hired in the past, including Mark Elliot, Jay Gardner, David Kaye, the late Brad Crandall, Ernie Anderson and many others. They have both personally guided me as well as inspired me with their coaching and encouragement. I have continued to practice the craft narration by donating my time reading books for the blind for the New Mexico State library system. Previously, I was an Avid editor for over 17 years and have been involved in the video and recording industries for over 30. I am a graduate of UCLA, and started my career at the university's radio station.

Additional Skills

Avid and Final Cut Pro editor. Audio Post-Produced over 600 promos and television shows involving talent, foley, mixing, etc. as a Producer. Was a staff promo writer early in my career, but have continued to write many of the corporate projects, as necessary. Owned a production company based in California which included script to screen services, including Betacam photography, Avid editing, and online finishing services.
