Voice Description

Clear, somewhat deep. Can be clinical and anchorman-like, but can also be light and animated for commercials or audio books. A former RN, I have an extensive vocabulary and am comfortable with technical/medical terms. As a dog training instructor specializing in retrievers, I'm also experienced in voice over & commentary on nature-related subjects, having produced 13 DVD's on my own training system.

I'm best with a British accent, but am adaptable with others. I do Indian/middle eastern dialects, especially in comical settings. I also do an Aussie gent.

My Voice Experience

Other than on camera & voice over for my own DVD productions, I've done one other project - a promotional DVD for a Tae Kwon Do school. This was an 11 minute video with several voice over spots describing the services and atmosphere of the school here in Kansas City, Missouri.

My Training

Associates degrees as a Paramedic, and as a Registered Nurse. I am brand new to the voice over industry, and am looking forward to getting started.

My Studio Equipment

At present my equipment is all geared toward video production and editing. I shoot Canon HD video, and edit with Sony Vegas 9 software.

Additional Skills

As part of my dog training business I conduct 6-8 seminars each year across the US and Canada. I am very comfortable in front of audiences, or a microphone in virtually any setting. So far, all my training has been OJT.
