My Voice Experience

I have acted on stage, and sung before audiences and on live radio, but I have no professional voice acting/voiceover experience.

My Training

I have a degree in Classical Studies from Earlham College, including extensive study in theater and in sound production. In the mid-90s I sang in an award-winning chamber choir, and I have acted on stage in both musicals and straight plays.

My Studio Equipment

No formal studio. Basic microphone and Audacity software for sound editing.

Additional Skills

I have worked in call centers, and I have telecommuted for work for the last several years. I know firsthand the need for clarity and precision in recorded and phone-based voice communication. In addition, as a musician, I'm familiar with the use of qualities of voice and sound to influence listeners' mood and behavior.
