Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I do a Hispanic accent, British accent, Australian accent, French and Italian. I can cover Yodah from Star Wars, an I have been told my "Bill Clinton" is very good. I do Jimmy Stewart also.

My Voice Experience

When graduated from High School, I enrolled in Columbia School of Broadcasting. I soon began working in radio. I learned how to cold read copy as well as to write copy. I did many commercials with different voices and sometimes even performed several voices on one announcement. I later worked in a cable access TV station. I continued to write copy and produce videos. One of them was a puppet show called "Skank and Dr. Electro". I was Dr. Electro. I was also several other characters as well.

My Training

I graduated from High School in 1980. I then graduated from Columbia School of Broadcasting in 1982.

My Studio Equipment

I have a TEAC mixer and a TEAC 4 track reel to reel. However I don't use them much anymore. I have "Audacity" recording software so that I can record and edit digitally. I also have Corel video studio with audio edit capability. With these programs I can digitally enhance my audio in so many ways, I can't count them all. I can then send the audio file via e-mail or burn a CD and send it via regular mail. I have the capability to edit audio tape but why bother when digital is so easy.

Additional Skills

I have had many different jobs over the last 30 years. These jobs include Limo driver, Radio Announcer, Police Officer, Dispatcher, and Crime Scene Investigator. There have been others. But the point is, each of these jobs have helped me create characters that I can call on to do different voices. I also have knowledge in these areas that would be useful in copy writing. In all I have about 15 years of experience in radio and TV doing voices, writing copy and doing voice performances. I would enjoy doing this type of work and I am convinced I would be good at it.
