My Voice Experience

I'm very good at making my voice catch the attention of the listener, whether speaking live on the phone, or when recording. I've been working for T-Mobile Czech Republic for a few years now, and not only are they pleased with my voice, they're pleased with the rapidity with which I work (something that has gratified other clients).

A former professor of mine hired me to narrate a short documentary he made, which I did in less than half an hour. I've never seen him smile like that, before or since.

Among other voice work, I've done narration (see above), dubbing (usually for commercials, though once for a documentary), and the aforementioned T-Mobile job. Recently, I did voice work in a short (20-minute) independent film by a Czech director; this film will be shown in independent film festivals around Europe when it is finished. I'm always looking for new opportunities to use my voice in a creative manner.

My Training

I studied acting in high school, which involved projection and various types of accents. In college, I worked as a telemarketer, and learned how to modulate my voice in order to increase sales - the customers were more open to buying when the telemarketer had a pleasant voice. As a film student in Prague, I acted in other students' films, and eventually, the professor I mentioned above hired me to narrate his documentary.

My Studio Equipment

I have access to a professional studio, with a fully-trained sound engineer, for an extremely reasonable price. The studio has all the necessary equipment.

Additional Skills

I have very good pronunciation in other languages, as well as English. I have the tendency to pick up tones and inflections, which helps me to sound more natural when speaking a foreign language, and when speaking English, my voice is clear and easy to understand.
