My voice is sweet, soothing, or trustworthy. Many people have suggested that I should do voices for Disney characters. But I can also manipulate my voice fairly easily to sound older, younger, more sultry, powerful, etc. I am an actress and singer with a theatre degree and am able to sound like countless character types.

My Voice Experience

I am an actress and singer with a theatre degree from Northwestern University. I took private singing lessons for five years. I studies voice and vocal performance (in speech and singing) at Northwestern University with Linda Gates and at Oxford University with Paul Wagar.
I have previously narrated children's books for library programs and sang for a student-written CD at Northwestern.

I was trained in voice and dialect use by Linda Gates and Paul Wagar (see "Experience").

Additional Skills

I've been performing on stage for 12 years and have great confidence in my vocal ability. I am also very good at sight-reading and can memorize very quickly. I work in downtown Chicago, so it would be easy to visit studios in the city at any time during the week.
