My natural speaking voice is a smooth, resonant baritone that has elicited remarks from various people of all stripes that,"You should be on radio". Easy enought to say!

I tend to shape my voice to my surroundings. I develop a twang when visiting family in the South. At practice with my teammates it becomes youthful and energetic. In meetings, client disussions, and presentations I always use my educated, professional voice. When I'm in an urban surrounding, my voice hardens and picks up the rhythm of the street.

The ladies at my wife's job used to call the house when they knew I was there just to hear me speak on the phone. I have heard references to Barry White.

I discovered and honed my voice's capabilities through Thespian Society and community theatre acting workshops.

My modest home studio consists of a Radio Shack 33-1070C microphone and Audacity on my XPS PC.

I am a mature, reliable professional with a concern for quality in the product I deliver to my clients in any type of work that I do.

In my primary occupation as an e-Learning Developer I am called upon to fill a number of roles related to the creation of material for voice over, including writing, production, computer coding, and performance.

In additino to my prior employment as a telephone operator, I have also had occassion to act as a spokesperson for non-profit causes. In this role I have made presentations before government and public policy boards, as well as issuing statements for the electronic media, and appearing as an interview subject for radio and television.

My very first radio interview came as a high school exchange student in Germany. When I asked the organization I was affiliated with how they came to reccomend me, I was told that the disscussion in the office centered around which student spoke the best German and whose voice would work best in the medium.
