Voice Description

My voice is warm, friendly and fun, yet authoritative -- this style is popular with my commercial production clients and the many On Hold Messages, voice mail greetings and telephone system prompts (VRUs) I record, as well as long-format pieces for presentations, training and e-learning.

On the flip side, I also do quite a bit of 'excited' TV and radio voiceovers for furniture stores. I've been the promotional voice of an ESPN Radio station.

- The voice of Aegon USA - Transamerica customer service VRUs and corporate telephone systems.

- Narrator for educational, testing and training e-learning materials for ACT (American College Testing) and Pearson Education.

- Talent for TV commercial VO's weekly for Mediacom Cable and Cox Cable production groups.

- Was both narrator and character voice for a national in-store point of purchase display for LEGO systems (LEGO Castle Playsets).

- Several technical/industrial VO's recorded each year for Epic Software, The Woodlands, TX, typically for the Oil & Gas industry.

- Numerous On Hold Messages recorded and produced for telephone systems. This is a specialty of mine -- I also sell the associated Digital Message Player equipment through one of my business Web sites, onholdwebstore dot com.

- Opened own voiceover and audio production studio part-time in 2001; became full-time in June 2004.

- Local ESPN Radio station Promotion Voice/Identity 2003-2006. I also provided full production services for several of the scripts (adding music, sound effects, etc.)
