Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

With a plethora of character voices in abundance, it can be hard to find that single voice which clearly cuts through to the point, in a gentle and upbeat way.

When the voice seeker needs a powerful, warm and easy to understand cadence they should have more options...which is why I concentrate more on clean scripts and limit the amount of special effects.

Special Effects, however, are not limited (see Street Smart finalist) as I love playing around with stingers and giving a spherical feel to a flat platform

My Voice Experience

20 Years Experience starting with KCJB and KYYX in Minot North Dakota, then WGRZ in Buffalo New York, then WDIV in Detroit Michigan, and finally here in Orlando, FLorida at WKMG.

All of the Above included not just voice over long packages (such as Charley, Francis and Jeanne 5 years later); but a daily job as an atmospheric scientist (morning weather guy) in each of the major cities listed.

Going back to 1991 to the present I have been the voice for the North Dakota State Fair to being the voice of many on air talents (under read announcing)

I have worked with ISDN when bridging communication with TV during the morning shows (Today Show, Early Show in New York) for interviews, or most times just as a guest.

Satellite transmission with Satellite truck, microwave broadcast to internet 4G broadband...I've done it all.

My Studio Equipment

Mac Book Pro, Garage Band (MacBook Pro 17 inch with dual screens) Studio AT2020 Mic, with AT1320 Wind Guard, On Stage Stand with a spider float for the microphone and a double splash guard in front (no popping of the p's, etc)

I have Connect Source Pro, which allows any type of communication either ISDN which plugs me into your equipment directly, or 5 other ways of doing the same thing.

I also use WebEx for recroding playback for all my clients. This allows multiple managers to hear the session at the same time and give feedback in real time; rather than me just reading and uploading to an FTP site or sending CDs via snail mail.

I also have Pando.com for huge file transfers, such as voice over work for preproduced video files.

Additional Skills

I absolutely love it when a client get's what they are looking for; and feel great about being able to deliver using the latest technology with the greatest amount of ease for both ends.
