Voice Description
From syrupy-smooth to cold and authoritative, I've cultivated a panoply of vocal styles applicable to a wide variety of environments. Voices can engaging, endearing, authoritative, informational, motivational, and entertaining - my craft is to blend the essence of these and other attributes to deliver the voice that most closely matches the character of the associated content.
Investment banker? Lab chemist? Software guru? Each of these personae have a distinct vocal signature, and my job is to acquire it as though it were a second skin.

My Voice Experience
As a life-long performer on the stage and in musical ensembles, I have acquired the enunciation and delivery necessary to create authoritative vocal presentations, whether they are informational, instructional, or promotional in nature.
These skills have helped me in such productions as "Ticket Outta Town" (CSU Hayward, 1998), where I played the local news anchor, requiring both character acting and journalism-style narration.
My Training
From community theatre in grade school to formal acting training at Sarah Lawrence College, to improvisational infomercials for entirely fictitious products dubbed to music, I've run the gamut of narration visions.
As an actor, I received standard voice-projection training, enabling me to substantially increase my range.
I've created voice-overs in the artistic and commercial oeuvres, and have an ear which is finely-tuned to the nature of attention-commanding phraseology.

Additional Skills
As a musician, I am very attuned to the overall concept of sound. In college, I worked as a sound engineer, creating and recording sound effects for stage plays. Such work provided me with a basis for comprehending all aspects of theatrical and artistic production.
