Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

As a native (upstate) New Yorker having lived in the West since 1980, any detectable accent is generally unidentifiable. Easterners say I have a "western" accent. Westerners occasionally comment I have an "eastern" accent.

My Voice Experience

I have worked in classical, country and Christian contemporary radio formats doing live and recorded announcing. I have produced news, weather, promo spots and commercials.

My Training

I hold degrees in Public Speaking, Speech Communication and Secondary Education. I have more than five years on-air radio experience in classical, country and contemporary Christian formats. I have additional presentation experience in live theater, classroom and large auditorium settings.

My Studio Equipment

I use a professionally equipped studio with an Electrovoice RE27 mic. The studio includes an 16 channel board, digital voice capture and digital voice editing software, EQ, CD player, turntable, reel to reel tape and cassette tape options.
